Siete Potencias Africanas Gallery (hereafter to referred to as SPA) seeks to stimulate neighborhood vibrancy and community development through visual and performing arts installations exploring the varied ideas, expressions, iterations and utterances of care. All installations are required to be fully interactive with the low-income Tenderloin street community. Installations may look like: Offerings of tea, food, clothes and/or stories. Live music, video/film and comedy all considered. Full sound system with turntables onsite. Live piano also onsite. The gallery space is comprised of two floors, with huge storefront windows on each. We represent nonfigurative works of art only. Generally seeking art that does not imitate life.
